Anyone in this club have experience with a BassPro 500? I just ordered a used one off GC, should be here by Monday or Tuesday. I like all the features and the information I could find online was all really positive but would like some more up to date input if possible. I've owned some Peavey cabs, basses and amps and have always been impressed with them.
I basically needed a backup amp and I figured since I was going to go used might as well go with a brand that can survive anything.
So any input, advice, setting suggestions?

I bought a Pro500 to back up my Mark VIII.
I run it at 2 Ohms in to a 210TVX and a BX115-BW
I like it a ton. Nice 12AX7 tube Pre, 3-band full parametric EQ and a ton of cool features for nominal money. I think it's an underrated amp with a ton of features...and I've never had problem with it.
I tend to run the Pre @ 11 o'clock, Post @ 2 o'clock and mess with the EQ to dial in what I'm looking for. The owner's manual has some EQ setting examples.

Best of luck!

Here's a great clip of Ben Adey of The Nice Sharp Pencils rockin' a Peavey Tour 700 with a Peavey 410. Killer sound, and a great excuse to post this clip of the UK bass/drum duo.

Listen/watch both tunes. You'll be glad you did.
