Peavey B-Quad 4 transformation - creative content

I've done some cool finishes - but this one hands down takes the cake. Anything I post here on the road to reassembling the B-Quad will only be a very pale facsimile of what it looks like in person - and especially in twilight. In fact - I'm calling this 'look' "Twilight Zone" - because the half-light that is twilight is when the gold dusting (nailed by Pat) activates. Uber elegant. My concept with this is inspired by the tony sidewalks adjacent to high-urban architecture - the kind that 'sparkles' under foot at night ('twilight' created by street-lights, (auto) head-lights and store/shop lights catching the glittering aggregate mixed w/the concrete. I had Pat do it on an early attempt but it was too subtle. (cool, but only up close)

In the pic above and below - you can see the tiny dots of metallic dust. From a distance - the variegated gold leaf is the show. It holds and activates light access its metallic surface - then, a slight move into a different angle of light and the gold dust dances all over the body with killer understatement! ~magic~
