I've not been into slot cars, but I know there is at least one Alfa Romeo that I'd like to add to my collection of Alfa models. Another of my hobbies--collecting miniature versions of Alfa Romeos that I can't afford in 1:1 scale.
I have HO trains, and have thought it would be fun to have a setup with trains, trolleys, and cars, but the slot cars are a different scale, no? (I honestly don't know.)
It's been said that Karmann invented rust and licensed the process to the Italians. My one full-sized Alfa is a 1971 Spider. I also had an '87 Milano for awhile (known as the 75 in the rest of the world) and a Milano parts car, but lacked the time, space, and money to be working on that one as well, so those went off to a friend in Maine that has something like 50 Alfas on his property in various stages of restoration or decay.
