Pedal Demos!

Glad you're back! Gotta say, with all the pandemic craziness, I was a little worried about you.

I figured it was more about the getting married thing. Every married man knows happy wife happy life and if the wife isn't into pedal demo'ing...

Glad to see you back at it though!!! Get them in before married becomes married with kids.

Not a married thing, haha. My wife if a professional symphonic classical musician. So she knows the music life. It was definitely a financial and pandemic related lull. I also started a new 'career' in software engineering. So that took some time to get to used to that shift.

It's a very nice sounding unit. I think it's the first reverb I've heard that shakes the mighty H9's tree. For me, I'm happy with my current H9's, it's a size / cost / features / OMG the H9 still rocks and holds it's own decision. But I do think this new CXM 1978 sounds a bit sweeter and fuller, plus the internal cross over / mixer is very desirable.

First time getting a Meris pedal into my studio. Hedra!

That was a really great demo, as usual! You, Amos Heller, and Hondo Felder are THE benchmarks for bass guitar pedal demos!

I dig everything about the Hedra, but I know my pitch shifting needs really only extend to half and whole step down tuning. That would be criminally underutilizing a Hedra, although I'm currently using an HX Stomp for that same purpose.

Still, I need the pitch shifting functionality, I HATE the Digitech Drop AND the EHX Pitch Fork, and I'm obviously ok with criminally underutilizing a pedal, so maybe the Hedra wouldn't be a bad idea?!

Thanks for the great content!
