Pet peeve

I was "trying to make it" for awhile in the early nineties, and rubbed elbows with quite a few music industry people. Some of them were a little slimey.
When I was in my late teens I wanted to be a long haul truck driver. Then I worked for a guy that owned three Peterbuilts that delivered produce from SoCal to Seattle. I rubbed elbows with the drivers and heard all their stories about falling asleep at the wheel and coming to a stop in a corn field, and rampant infidelity and medical issues.

I went into selling Hi-Fi after that.
