Pet Peeves, let's hear them.

i hate it when visitors to a person's house park in their driveway. Doesn't really apply to people with lots of parking room, but my driveway holds 2 cars, and mine goes in front of my front door. Park on the street! (if legal) Going to "events" at the in-laws house is a nightmare (they are Puerto rican). If there is a way to block a car in, they will find out how...

Not putting kitchen stuff back where you got it. I guess my mom taught me this early on in life. Living with my wife's family for the time we did drove me insane. The measuring cup was in a different cupboard every single time i had to use it. one time i found it stacked on top of the plates across the kitchen! You could probably combine this with the "moving stuff that isn't yours" topic. Moving it is fine i guess, but tell me where you put it!!

I think they do this intentionally in order to maintain some "controll." When you , understandably, have to ask them where something is they get to sigh and patronize you because your feeble man brain didn't think to look in the crisper for the oven mits.

If you choose to wear your pants like this, please remember that when you are working, I certainly WOULD like fries with that.

Automatic transmissions... especially in sports cars

this isn't directed at you (unless it is) but it reminded me:

people who think they are better than you/think they are a better driver than you because they drive a car with a manual transmission. yes, your car is less technologically advanced... whoopie doo!

also, people who end up running the estate of a deceased person who is either famous, or came up with famous interlectual property (ie comics, books, plays, music, etc); who then go on a witch hunt for anyone who ever spoke, wrote, enjoyed, or batted an eyelid at said famous person/person's property. yea you're so entitled to thousands/millions of dollars because of someone else/something that someone else came up with. get your own job.

haha yeah I'm not saying I think that - although it is a lot easier to zone off or not pay as much attention to what you're doing if you're driving an automatic, so there's a higher chance of getting in a crash... imo

Meh . . . I've been driving a standard transmission since I was 16. After a point you just stop thinking about it thereby negating any perceived "paying attention" advantage.

I do prefer a standard though. It makes me feel more like I'm driving the car instead of just guiding it.

Moron drivers and specifically people who do not understand how a double left turn works or what a blinker and mirrors are used for.

Reality tv.

The word especially pronounced eck-specially.

People who incessantly speak over others.

Those who for some reason feel obligated to one up you at everything.

Lingering goodbyes.
