Peter Steele, Bass tone

Looks to me like they do exactly the same thing, wich would pretty much make them sound the same.....only difference being they make a Sustainiac for bass and the only Fernandes sustainer available is for guitar, although like I said, I met a guy who put a regular fernandes sustainer on his bass and it works, but they cant gaurantee it so they will advise against it....I really wish Fernandes would make bass sustainers and release them in the U.S.

I have to experiment with the guitar version on a bass. What I would like to have is a bass sustainer that could be installed without altering the guitar. Where is Nikola Tesla when you need him?

I have a fernandes asb100, only a small run of them were made for artists only in Japan, I think only 10 or 12 of these models were produced, the other was the fernandes asb95s or something. Looked like a gravity bass with a sustainer. My fernandes looks like the 25th anniversary bass but with a sustainer.

Oh damn, very nice. I stumbled upon a 5-string model with the bass sustainer a few years back but who the hell wants a 5-string. It is a shame the bass sustainer never went into production.

Yeah man I'm in total aggreence, they should have kept them in production. I just recently traded my m10 modded with a sustainiac for this bass, plus some other quite rare goodies. The fernandes is being wired back together as we speak by my tech guy. Will keep you posted when its finished.

Do you by chance know the guys name ? Would like to talk to him as far as information about it goes, also do you know if it works well on bass ?
