My Sadowsky NYC Verdine White Satin 5

I have one and I absolutely love it!
Early 2000's MIM P special deluxe, or something like that.
Was supposed to be a beater bass for jams and gigs in seedy places, but the neck is amazing, the action is comfy, it has a G&L MFD P and DiMarzio J. It's become an indispensable workhorse.

Nice pickup combo— I’m holding on to a G&L MFD P pickup specifically to pair with a Dimarzio Model J in my next PJ build.. seems spicy! Love that color red too

I'm sure I've owned 50 different basses with P/J configuration.
I generally find them charming and full of tones that are useful.
I wholeheartedly agree that the pickups working together is probably the reason why I sold some that I otherwise loved.
Then there was that whole 5-6 year Spector phase. That was fun.
I currently own two.
One fretless Fender Tony Franklin. A great sounding bass, period.

One Sadowsky that I've decided I can live without and is currently in the classifieds.

...and a hardy "thank you," @Gloompunk, for all that you do! ;) :D

post a picture of your bass for us to see, I don't know. As long as it has a split coil near the neck and a single coil near the bridge, anything goes

anything but a plain old P! :vomit: :D

i have 4 of 'em, and this is my newest, greatest-of-all-time, magical PJ:
