My only PJ right now is my mikro with EMG geezers in it. I love seeing all the pj love. I’ll be back in 3-4 months with some pics as I have a 30” bordwell with bartolini PJs coming soon! Can’t wait.

Best sounding bass I ever owned was a pedulla mvp4 pj with Barts. If not for nerve damage in my shoulder and all that weight I’d still own it.

it looked just like the one posted right before this.

The Guild Pilot bass I used to own. Built very well, vintage EMGs with a reverse P, super comfortable neck and the lightest bass Ive ever picked up. Also the EMGs has incredible clarity. Always ran both pickups fully on great tone. Total sleeper bass when I bought it, they were still going for only $400 bucks or so. I would even buy one now that they are up to 6 and 800ish over a lot of other basses.

I absolutely love my American Ultra Precision bass which sports a PJ configuration. I bought it online because it was a very good deal by the time (end of 2020). I wasn't sure if I would keep it as I wasn't really into active electronics. I also would prefer a solid color like olympic white over the sparkling arctic white finish of the bass. But after playing it for a while it has soon become my no. 1 bass. It has really grown on me. The neck just feels right for me and I have found the sound of my dreams which I get by rolling the balance control just a notch from the middle position towards the P-pickup. This gives a nice dip in the mids and produces a round sound which cuts through in the mix.

I use the Same Blend position most often with my Ultra Precision, Neck and Playability best I have played

I finished building this one about three weeks ago.

Started as a "fretwire" J-Bass raw kit fourteen months ago.
Upgraded, expanded, and now convertible PJ/JJ by swapping the guard and screwing in the desired pup (brass inserts for the screws).

Lefties have to be crafty to get what they want.

In love with that color/aesthetic.
