Title What are friends for?
I live close enough to Santa Fe NM, where it is not uncommon to rub elbows with famous. I say so what, The best thing we can do for them, is treat them as normal people. It is that normality which grounds those famous friends. I have my second degree of separation from some of the famous, that and $4.25 still does not get me a Grande from that Seattle Coffee shop.
Your relationship as an an apparent nobody makes you a somebody, and a trusted somebody to them. You can't buy trust,
Anyone want to become a second degree of separation for 1947 Roswell UFO incident? Just say I liked one of Drgonzonm's posts on Talkbass.com. (can't get any closer, as Charlie Moore died 15 years ago.)
