Poor guy couldn't even get on the stage

Hi,

I went to a bridal show last night and there was a wedding band playing. I'm looking all around for the bass player and then suddenly I spot him. I had to take a pic for you guys. I know the stage was a little small....but c'mon!
This sums up being a bass player. Kid was really good too and had a real nice LPB Jazz.

There have been many nights when I wanted to be off the stage because the drummer or guitar player were too MU$T@NG$@LL% loud. Sometimes I will walk to the farthest corner of the stage away from all the noise.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

I’m like that on a big stage, never mind a small one. Except for the beard. Which I envy. Hmmm I have beard envy, I must think about this.

My polka band has played a few St. Patrick's Day gigs at The Jazz Kitchen in Indy. The stage is so tiny we had to tell our keyboard player he couldn't play because he wouldn't fit. I stood inches behind our accordion player and I was just praying he hadn't eaten too much corned beef and cabbage that day.

Was the drumme’s nam Rose, by any chance? :roflmao:

Ehhhh, it's just the bass player. Not like it's anyone important, right? Ha, at least they didn't give him a wireless set up and an ear monitor, and tell him to stand outside.

Hey he pulled off the ultimate bass player move.

He stood out.

Guaranteed someone else there noticed the one guy who wasn't facing forward and wasn't on the stage. Now, sure that probably wasn't behind this as he is a big guy and probably felt more comfortable standing there and was happy to be able to hear himself and play while getting paid but I like to think he did it to stand out.

Cheers to this guy for at least making someone go, "Why's that guy over there?"
