Nope.
I picked one up a few months ago. Too bad they no longer offer the cool design you had, they only sell Screwdrivers in that shiny red color now. 
You are just speaking of the Sonic Stomp right? My Opto Comp is just like any other high-quality optical compressor, and I feel it is necessary.
Yes, I meant the Sonic Stomp. Ironically, I do like the BBE process sound, but find it unecessary if one makes the right gear choices. I will use it while mixing in my project studio, on occasion, but not on bass.

I re-did it again. The BDI21 got kicked, because (surprise!) it sucks. I do not like having random German shortwave broadcasts from the Cold War coming in on my bass rig. But the price was right.
I also might sell the El Grande and pick up a Bass Big Muff. The El Grande isn't doing it for me, and I gave it enough of a chance.

This is pretty much how I expect my board to stay, though I do have a Bass Synth Wah on it's way to me, and I'd like to add a Phase 90 later on....
It's great! The frequencies cover the full range of the bass, the lowest is 31.75hz. I play at church, straight to the board with no amp. So I use the KK to cover all of my equalizing. I get a nice deep tone with an articulate, clear high end.
Not stereo, but it does have 2 outputs. You don't have a left channel and right channel, but 2 of the same channel. I think it's designed to feed two different amps, like a clean amp and a dirty amp.
No, they're the same as the other 10-band EQ. I think the only difference is the extra output (and the paint job, of course).
I like it fine; it doesn't affect my tone like a Boss or Ibanez or DOD does, and it doesn't take an 18v adaptor like the Trace Dual Comp does. I had a Bass Compactor that I liked, but I think this one is more transparent that that one was. I may still try that other cheapie tube comp (can't remember the name of it), but overall, I'm happy with this one.

An update - I put the channel switcher onto the board and added the analog synthesizer/ noise box. I really need to get some new cables instead of those straight jack Planet Waves.
