very nice shawn-o
how does the sound of the italics p90 sound to the square letter one? i own the square letter one, got it for 45$ at a pawnshop (A STEAL!) and i love it, just edged off of maximum for solos. great leslie effect.

i've always been curious about that bbe pedal... :D

Thanks man!

Im not going to lie, I was in the store and they didnt have the square normal one in stock. The script 74 Reissue one was only 7 bucks more so i figured I would pick it up anyways. Had a gift cert.

Apparently people state its got a warmer sound than the square lettered one, but i havent played both to compare.

I just bought the BBE one the other day and havent had a chance to play it with the band. From playing around with it in the store, i think i'll definately like it though.

So I'm slowly starting to build up my pedal collection (funds willing). I don't have a board yet or enough patch cables but this a rough picture of my layout.

I'm thinking the FX-25 might get replaced with a different filter as my L2K distorts the input like crazy unless I play at a barely audible volume. The Big Muff is also in question, not for sound issues but merely for quality reasons. I'm also thinking of adding an octave of some sort soon if I can find one I like.

Oh and to also note my Vox is heavily modified to be bass friendly.

Thats a nice setup dude. I have been torn between which fuzz to go for, but somethin tells me russian muff might be the bang for the buck (on a budget too). I guess by quality you are referring to its construction?

I really recommend you spring the extra cash for Bass Big Muff, especially if you gig out. I like the sound of my black russian but those cheep wobbly knobs are super annoying and it can be tough to get that pedal to cut through in a live mix. The Bass Big Muff is what, $20 more? I think you'll end up saving money in the long run with the BBM.
