Post Your Pedalboard 25: Parcheesi!

I saw a URB played through a wah on youtube and it was sick.

Also, today or tomorrow I shall be taking a circular saw to a piece of 1" plywood to make a 1' square board for my three pedals.

I bet for just three pedals you could do something sweeter than just a flat board! What about a "winner's podium" kind of thing... middle pedal is raised? Or a false bottom kind of thing... three pedals straight across with a secret compartment in the bottom. C'mon dude, you saw my pedalboard build thread. Build something cool!!! :ninja: ;) :D

5sg.

Behndy:

The plate, brass or whatever..serves as a base for the body of the power supply. The plate gets attached underneath the pt-1. inbetween a set of "ribs"..those underneath bars.

This gives you a real bottom to work with

AHHHH. gotcha. that's... actually a very smart, very elegant solution. neat.

think i'm going to Home Depot tomorrow to try that out. thanks!

they have Home Depot's in Mexico. i seen 'em. that's.... weird to me.

yeahhhhh... i'm SO freaking white i'm super careful about jokes with even HINT of racism about 'em. i know i'm not a racist, and everybody that knows me knows that, and all that sensitivity bulls**t is just that, bulls**t. but ya gotta be careful 'bout being taken out of context.

so.... just played with the VTD for about an hour.

dayum. i forgot how nice the VT pedal was. that thing just.... kills. super happy about this bugger. well worth the wait.

back to noise makin's now.

Not around a black dude like me, we'd probly like each other, lol, I treat racism like the joke that it is, or at least should be. People give it the power it has, I take it away by makin it a joke but yeah you do hafta watch who you joke around.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!

i..... um...... LOVE the Effects Section.

i SO wanna buy a double bass so i can start posting there. see how well THAT flys.

"so, an UPRIGHT bass through an IE Oxide sounds like somebody being made to watch Thomas The Train Engine slash fic porn for the first time to me.

thoughts?"

wheeee!
They'll rip you apart.. and your little dog too...
I use to hang down there but got sick of all the arguing, and being told I was wrong and then saying the same thing I had just said...

I feel really sensitive about that now.. Thanks:scowl: Never did till YOU had to bring up feeling sensitive but NOW!:spit: You know some us are from melting pot areas and don't have that definableness:crying:... YR mean:bawl:

:D:D:D:D:D:D

@Time Consumption - yeah, that's SO how i feel. that sh!t's so ridiculous it's almost funny if you hear it actually coming out of somebody's mouth. almost. 'till you realize how messed up they must be if they believe it.

in PERSON that's how i deal with it. online? woof. watchyaself. i'm CONSTANTLY censoring things out of my head meats onto the keyboard. don't want anybody to think i'm a little freak.

@FuzzyMudSkipper - BLAM!!! last of the pure honkeys right here homie! i'm such a white mutt... Scottish, English, Hungarian, little bit of French, some Redneck.

meh... i'm in Cali... near Berkeley. LOVE the range of skin tones all the hot grrLs come in

that's what's always weird about being in most other countries. predominantly mono-chromatic. and SO close to other countries.

ONtopic - whew. the VTD is just.... better... then the VT into PBDI i was running. great range of tones. breaks up nice. can get fat round bottom (giggity) out of it.

this thing KILLS. get to jam it in about 2 hours at practice.

WOO to the mother******* T.

Lol, back on topic, I have started the beginnings of my pedalboard, just got eric!'s pickle pie and loving it, traded my swollen pickle for a BSW and havin fun tryin to cop muse with them. So far I think the BSW will be on octave duty live til I feel like buying an actual octave pedal, its actually really good at it so iono. Next up is a GR then some kind of chorus then delay.

:D I'm from El Sobrante origanally, also lived in Richmond :scowl: so I know the area well;)
I'm French, English, Russian and who knows... People seem to think I am: Native american, Greek or Russian... I'd also get asked "Do you speak english" at bus stops when I lived in Seattle:mad:

oh SH!T.

lol... i grew up in El Sob too!

the Primus song with the line "Hanging out at Jack In The Box, but eating at Taco Bell"? i grew up right up the hill from that spot he was talking about.

dayum. that's neat.

Ugh, off topic again, but your lucky you live in an area with a jack in the box, I travel with my dad and eat there, but there isn't one where i live for like 200 miles, friggin sux

So here's how the new board now sits. :D
Got some things sold, some others purchased or traded for, but I'm amazed that everything fits on here like it does. I'm not 100% on the Voodoo Bass being on this board, but it's here all the same. Might replace it with something else that is around the same size, but not sure what. If that happens, the Voodoo is totally going on the guitar board as its friggin' AWESOME on guitar. The reverb is before the chorus because of the top-mounted jacks (easier to plug into the amp with the side-mounted jacks of my Bi-Chorus).

Edit: also, as far as nationalities go... There's a reason my username is TheMutt. I'm:
Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Philippeno, Samoan, Hawaiian, Dutch, English, Irish, Hungarian, Spaniard, Mexican, Portuguese, and a teeny tiny bit Navajo (but not enough to really matter). :D

...the Primus song...
The DeAnza Jig, and I spent almost 20 years living (San Bruno, Burlingame, San Mateo) and working (downtown Palo Alto) on the Peninsula...yes, I'm terribly white.

Trying to bring this back on-topic and not get us shut down...when my new-to-me modded Muff arrives from Count Bassie, I'll be posting a significant change in my main board. I'm ALL excited to get the Muff...my first for-real bass fuzz!
