Due to excess not enough boards in thread I am reposting after a rearrange...

As you can see I'm maxxed out as of now [this is a PT pro and a PT jr] now I have no choice to up the size One of these days I needz to get some better cables I'm thinking Lava.

I think you can fit quite a bit more on those boards and that misc moog at the bottom, the key will be to place the cp201 and ep-1 on the pt pro.

What's your signal chain? As Higgie will tell you I am the king of pedal arrangement

Thank you sir. I think that if I took a close up and you could see the mess of cables under the compressor and all the white dog hair on the velcro, you might say otherwise, though.

I'm GASsing for a VTB Deluxe. Same great pedal, six presets? HOLY MOLY I want one! I want to experiment w/the placement of the TLC but quite honestly, it's a PITA to move stuff around once the cables are all neatly ziptied in place. I'm sure my curiousity will get the better of me one of these days. The VTB is always on; it's my core tone (classic rock/motown/reggae). For harder stuff I shut the VTB off and hit the Agro. I've tried quite a bit to get them to play nice together, but the VTB overdrives the input of the Agro with my standard settings (SVT emulation) on the VTB. In order to not overdrive the Agro (it sounds like poo overdriven at the input, trust me) I have to radically change the settings on the VTB which screws up my core tone. Which is WHY I NEED THE VTB Deluxe.

I wanna plug into that board! each of those pedals has crossed my gas list at some point.

if your not liking the sound of the VT driving the Agro try reversing their order. I imagine the Agro would sound awesome driving the VT harder. With one extra 12" patch cable you could take the output from the TLC into the VT and then the VT out to the rest of your chain without having to rearrange any pedals.

Hmm, good ideas, G.Bisson. I will try your suggestions! I need some more patch cables first, though. Darn things are so expensive though! I have to buy the premades b/c I don't trust DIY cables (George L's, etc). When it comes to things that get moved around a lot, if something is not soldered it will come loose eventually. The Dimarzio cables I'm using are very well made. They aren't very flexible, however. I need to buy a bunch of 12" and 18" cables. Pedal boards are expensive beasts, period.

A while back, I tried a Fender Tone Master 12" cable, not expecting much - I was wrong. Dead silent, rather flexy, and not terribly expensive (I think I paid about $8.00 each). I now have three. About the only bad thing I can find is that the plugs themselves are plastic-covered and non-accessible, repair-wise.

They're not GeorgeL's, but they're not bad either.

So far I'm digging the Ring Thing. It's pretty versitile. I just got it in the mail today, so I've only played with it a bit, but I've gotten some really useable sounds out of it. I was worried that it was just going to be a wacky noisemaker, but it's actually pretty useful.

lol. if i haven't re-written the first five presets of a multi-efx box in the forst ten minutes of playing with one there is NO chance that bugger will make it onto my board.

Thanks much for the tip! It's been difficult to find a middle ground with patch cables. Cheap ones typically aren't shielded and break in a week. Expensive ones are great but expensive. If I can find them online, I'll check'em out. Thanks again.

I've picked up a lucrative new client, so I splurged on a new pedal!

I set up a colleagues' board with one of these (guitarist), but knew I had to have one. It's great on bass! So clean & so flexible. Not the best choice if you want stanky, old-school analog warmth, but perfect if you want purity and full frequency response.

I set up a colleagues' board with one of these (guitarist), but knew I had to have one. It's great on bass! So clean & so flexible. Not the best choice if you want stanky, old-school analog warmth, but perfect if you want purity and full frequency response.

You lucky lucky lucky... Core what I wouldn't give to have that delay spat in me face.

For stank (emulation) Empress has the Vintage Modified Superdelay, which I imagine would still do purity and full frequeyness.

I see my board becoming this eventually. I have/had a few of them. Sold my VT for a Fulltone Bass Drive(mosfet) so I could have 2 settings.*sometimes I regret it* and I love that chorus pedal for what I need it to do. And instead of the fender I use a TU-2. Have a GAS for an envelope filter, but wont because it has no use in the current band.

But... How do you like the TLC? It is next on my list. I have tried several 40-90$ comp pedals and a few racks(don't like to carry another rack unit) and have not found one I like. So have come to the realization that I am going to have to spend 200$ on a comp pedal. It is a toss us between the TLC, and a micoComp. Any suggestions would be great.

Yeah, I kept the sub-octave with a little tweaking for my taste, and then re-did most of the rest of it. Hope you digging the BOD!
