No need to apologize. Someone asked about the Guytone Fuzz and I mentioned that I'd heard that it (the Guytone) and the Zoom Ultrafuzz were considered the "poor man's" Wooly Mammoth. I found it funny, that he didn't like the Mammoth, but enjoys a pedal considered a cheap alternative for that pedal.
I'm in the process of re-building mine to include a multi-loop bypass strip and fully-concealed cabling.
Here's my old one. The only thing on there I'm currently using is the English Muff'n...

Yeah, I know for a fact you don't have that Disco BOB on your pedalboard anymore . . .![]()

That all said...I spoke with Bill at Klon last year and he mentioned that he was working on a BASS Klon. I wonder if he ever finished it?
Hah hah, yeah the zoom does raise a few eyebrows compared to the rest of my kit, i felt better having found out that a surprising amount of top players and even some big names have kept theirs as well! It really is one of the best sounding pedals ive ever heard, and a great many 'signature' sounds of mine live in that decade old plastic noise maker!
I use two compressors as the hartke di/distortion really jumps the level when activated so the boss brings it back down before the amp to keep the level constant and protect the front end. This is why i have the noisegate, both are after the di and only affect the amp tone, the only compressor out front is the subtle aphex one.
The notes on my boss remind me to tune flat with Link Removed and double flat with Link Removed its not a glamourous boutique set up, but its born of 15 years gigging in everything from tiny corners to massive arenas and i think ive finally cracked it, apart from a line selector to switch the 506 in and out the loop.
As of right now. May change tomorrow (additions):
