Ah. Not too much different than my experience with it. Ever compared it to the Mini Q-Tron? I haven't had the chance to A/B them, but everyone seems to think the Mini is better for some reason.

I tell ya... it's the size mojo factor!

I really do enjoy the micro QTron.. it's a crazy beast, and nice and funkay!

my fun noize board:

order: thing - DD3 - Stereo Pulsar - POG - little Big Muff - KMD Analog Delay - Locobox Mysto-Dysto - Aria DMX10 Flanger/Chorus - DD6

the first is my main board, the second is my noize board. sometimes i'll use the noize board as an extension of the main board (to add modulated delays and such), but mostly it's for little synths (like the U73 and the weird little noisething i acquired from the artist Bent-It) and drum machines.
i'm planning another board (smaller) for a possible upcoming gig. it'll just be compressor, drive and fuzz (i think) on a pedaltrain jr.

No sir. I had to order the Micro Q-Tron from Musician's Friend because the two local shops around here (a Guitar Center and an independent place where the guy I asked had never even heard of a Q-Tron! ) did not have one. Yay for the return period, but I won't be needing it on this one.

Nice. I really liked the Micro when I tried it out, but since I've never used a Mini, I don't know if there's really any noticeable difference between the two.

I have noticed a little hiss with the Clone Theory as well, but I didn't notice anything with the Micro Q-Tron.

From my experience, the Clone Theory is the only EHX XO/Nano pedal I've tried so far with notable amounts of noise. But it's not bad enough to make me get rid of it, that's for sure - it's earned a comfortable place on my pedalboard!

ok, I've been absent far too long. My little guy has been keeping me very busy A different sort of brown noise for sure...

So, I'd been using the little Gator powered pedalboard. Which is cool, but the proprietary wall wart had me worried. It broke... so back to the Pedaltrain / Voodoo Labs setup for me

Out with the active blend cos I don't really need it. Benefit of going back to the VL power was that it meant I could have the Neo fuzz back on the board, which is polarity unfriendly to other pedals when using one-spots etc. The yellow pedal is Maxon FL-9, the label got 'flashed' out.

The only thing I'm waiting for is the reverse polarity connector to combine with my Godlyke Power Pump. That way, I won't need the wall wart for my Bass Micro Synthesizer! I'm really hoping I don't get any noise issues when I finally get to test that out this week. Otherwise, it's back to Plan B - a power strip mounted underneath the Pedaltrain Jr....
