Post your pedalboards - Part IV

do you use the booster and the POG at the same time? if so, does the booster clip the POG's input?

nah, read it again, well maybe that isnt the best way to explain how its connected...

I use both outputs from the Q-Tron, the effect out goes to the TS5, the booster, one channel of my ABY, then to my small amp, the dry out goes to the POG, the LBM, then to the other channel of the ABY, then to the big amp

so if I use the at the same time the POG is unaffected

I love my bi-amp setup right now, I get some great tones out of it IMO

Man... I think that you're going to fry anything that you connect after that one, even an amp... It must have at least 20W of output... and that's like connecting a pedal between a head and a cab.

I'm not dumb enough to put any pedals AFTER it. This is last in the chain and the out from it goes to my amp. Since it's a little practice amp it's only got a headphone out ,which to my knowledge is reduced, so it won't be frying anything. And the thing is a measly 15 watts... as long as I keep the volume on that down it's fine.

I use it to add some crunch to my tone. It does it well. haven't tried or heard an overdrive that can get the sound I'm getting. The sound is kind of reminiscent of a Boss DS1... but more tonal variety... a lot more.

ooh and I asked you a question in another thread, but I'm goanna ask here so you actually read it :smug:

... Hey jetpack, if you special order from GC can you return it if you don't like it?

Well its not QUITE done, but its close enough... I need to find something to cover the corners, because right now the fabric is just kinda hanging there and I need to cover it so it doesn't rip/tear/etc. easily.

These shots were taken with the camera built-in to my computer, and let me tell you... it was really ****ing awkward to take these pictures! I hope you enjoy them, lol

...and yes, that is my foot holding up the pedalboard so you can see the cavity...

...told you they were awkward to take, lol

+1 on the foot. They are awesome! I actually have 2 just like the one you have.

Here's my modest little board at the moment. I have some others, mostly DIY clones that I don't use much or haven't quite finished yet. With my current band I usually only use the tuner and the Big Muff. The pedals are Korg DT-10, Snarling Dogs Blue Doo overdrive, Sovtek Big Muff, and my homemade Brassmaster clone. They're powered by a Godlyke Powerall. I also love my white coiled Bullet cable. :)

something tells me you like gain. is this true? also, where do i get one of those AWESOME curly cables?

You would have to find a BR-2 first, as they aren't manufactured anymore. They're a decent autowah. Good if you want to play Rosetta Stoned. Depends on if you want to replicate some Tool sound or not. The BR-2 is a nice pedal, but I would say it's not as versatile as a Q-Tron or pedals of that nature.

Oh, and I'll trade you my Colorsound for your Bass Whammy ;)

I meant i've seen them on ebay, i know they dont make them anymore :P

My next pedal is gonna be the guyatone tremolo and probably the br-2 since it's the cheapest out of the suggested pedals.

My new Epifani cabs came yesterday so here are some pics of my board and rig. The board has a cover that is hinged at the back and it held closed by the 2 cam locks/latches you can see on the sides. The whole thing is smaller than a small combo amp an weighs about 16lbs. The white cable is the power snake (9V, 2.3V and 14V all in one) and you can see a little bit of the signal snake I made that feeds the rack on the right near the top. The small black box on the board is the MIDI out jack.

AWESOME Rig! i dig it.

Well since the circuit board is all one long piece and since I wanna save space, I did some quick measurements and I'm looking at a box 11.5 x 3.5 x 3/3.5 in. Length, depth and height respectively.

So yea, a BDDI, albeit a squished one... :D

I thought about making it rackmountable, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna have a rackable amp or not down the road. Plus it's less costly to get a metal casing fabricated, I'm an Architecture student and know CAD, so It saves me some cash designing the box. I'll throw a thread up with pics of the plans when I get them dome/happy with them.

sounds , I look forward to seeing/readin about it :D

DAAAANN!! Welcome back, bro! :D :hyper:

Thanks! I hear you're just as crazy as ever :D
