Nice lookin' studios guys. Working on getting a few more things then I'll post a pic of my humble setup.
How many of you guys are using patchbays? Didn't see too many, so maybe ya'll are hiding them.

This would be better if it were post your studio and a track you laid down using the Gear in your photo.
Just started a project studio in the basement, heres some pics along with a couple from a remote pianist session.
How do you like the Tascam US-1641? I'm a little skeptical because it's the cheapest interface with 8 mic pre's.
MikeXbass, love the control room and really like that big diffusor you've got hanging on the back wall. Nice job.

Yes, it sucks, yes, I don't have any fancy mixers, but it's portable and it works for demos. FL Studio is my DAW of choice. I don't need a huge or even a good setup, because there is a professional studio quite literally two minutes walk away from my house where me and the band go to record.

No problems so far whatsoever. Good sounding, if a bit noisy at high gain levels, pres, and no driver issues. Taken everything I've thrown at it very well so far. I'd say do it.

Don't know that I can really call it a "studio", just my little corner of the house.
I can plug up headphones and record through my little fast track into the Ableton Live software on my HP laptop (I've yet to be able to get my Protools M-Powered to work properly). Only using the mic (sm57) for guitar. I'm running bass into the VT bass pedal and then right into the interface.

Pic is from a couple of years ago, was set up for guitar back then. Changes since then include adding a pair of M-Audio monitors, Rh450 + Rs210 + Rs212, a patchbay, a vocal processor, and a line mixer. Those guitar pedals are now in a pile off to the side and have been replaced with a VT Bass and a Bass Pod. Have also added a laptop so I can go mobile with some of the software I use.
