The blue one is a 63 Justin, and 1Shot, it is a great bass. But there is a possibility I may sell it soon to my friend, another TBer who lives nearby. I'm about to have my second daughter in October and will be thinning down the herd a bit.

congrats on the baby, well and the first one too.Basses are fun, but kids really are irreplaceable.
'63-'64 Jazz... was defretted and painted with oil-based house paint when I got it. I planed and epoxied the 'board, cleaned up the hardware a bit and sprayed a faded three-tone.

Well that is a great looking P bass. I just love the aged Oly white. And there is NOTHING like the early Fender rosewood and clay dots. The rosewood on my '63 is almost jet black.

First slab board I've owned. It's real cool. I gigged it Friday and had fun with it. Tough to compare it to a Sadowsky J live but cool non the less. I'm gonna change strings and do a setup when I get some time. Just live the old Fenders. Couldn't pass it up

60? Jazz my dad got 40+ years ago. He refinished the body back in the 70's. Gigs with this bass helped buy the first house my parents ever owned. He's gone now, but we'll never sell this bass. I gotta get some better photos of it though.
