What the hell... we've got Northern and Southern; we might as well get these Western folk involved.
I'm from Utah; it's awesome. I have 10 ski resorts within an hour of my house, and mountain biking everywhere. This time of year I can snowboard in the morning and mountain bike in the afternoon. Stop complaining about the liquor laws... you can get drunk here just as easily as anywhere else.
Go West!![]()

I might be a native yankee but I've grown to love everything about Florida..........accept the other yankees that come down here![]()

Why is Florida not brightly coloured on that map, btw?
Or Texas?
... i sometimes wish Texas could be " a separate country ".It's a separate country.
There's not much anyone can do about it.

San Antonio seems to be a unique mix of Mexican/German heritage , with a strong Irish presence .Texas and Florida are a mixed bag.
... Whereas the further you go west, to Austin/San Antonio/etc, it gets very "Southwestern",
which is culturally very different the "The South".
...I love Texas, however I don't necessarily feel much affinity for "The South" as it were,
and I don't refer to myself as a southerner. There were/are certainly some great Southern people/music/culture/etc though.
Souf right here!!!
Idk about southern pride but I know fosho I have more pride in Texas than American as a whole...
good or bad thing, it's the truth.
I love Texas but not so much the South. I love Texas for the independent spirit thats so prevalent here.
The friendliness, the wide open spaces, the great mix of cultures here.
