I haven't hit every corner of the state, but I'd say that the San Antonio seems to have that in common with the Austin area, although with a different cultural flair. This next statement will hack a few off but, while living in Texas, I found the stereotypical "southern hospitality" lacking more often than not.San Antonio seems to be a unique mix of Mexican/German heritage , with a strong Irish presence .
the people , the places , all seem just a little different , maybe friendlier or laid back , than the rest of Texas , imo .
