Frankly with the older prog, apart from KC, I end up enjoying Mahavishnu much more... I guess all it takes separating prog and fusion is vocals?

The beginning is very much inspired by Mahavishnu but overall it is more prog than jazzrock to me.

Well, I don't know about that. I was the vocalist in a band that I've always thought was more to the fusion side than the prog side, but we were kind of weird in a lot of ways.

I agree they are good. I just found out about them today. I like that they are mix of Yes, Flash, Gentle Giant, Genesis, Kansas, PFM, and many other classic progressive bands.
