Okay, there are plenty of posts from Squier players saying their basses are every bit as good as MIM Fenders...many are. Plenty of posts over the course of the years that say MIM Fenders are junk, so what's the problem?
I've read posts from people who wouldn't even dream of playing any Fender bass. Does it bother me? Not at all.
The simple truth is no matter how many "My Squier CV Jazz is perfect!" threads are posted here...I don't care if it's every, single day...I have yet to come across a board rule stating members have to click on these threads. Yet, plenty still feel the need to offer their worthless opinions about how no Squier made is as good as a Fender, no Sterling is as good as a Musicman, no Epiphone is as good as a Gibson, etc.
Fine, post away if it makes you feel better. Point out how you know more than everyone else. I have the choice to ignore any and all nonsense or to laugh at how ridiculous it all is.

You seem a little sensitive.
I simply made the point that trying to make others feel the way you do doesn't change how it feels to you.
Enjoy them and leave it at that and I get a big avalanche of blah blah blah.
Wow.
You squier guys are a little touchy.
I said nothing bad just made a point.

That's why I said:

Cheaper wood electronics... What have you it fit and finish.
Fender gave the contract to fugi gen at a certain point and they made them too well.
Fender pulled their contract and gave it to a korean company because they were meant to be inferior..not equal or better.both in price and quality.they did not want a squier to be made as well as a US fender.then they sent the contract to China cause they were still made too well.
So all you people who swear by Chinese made squiers are swearing that a quality that was intended to be Low by design is better......ok

And that's fine if you like them.
I'm just explaining the history to why people look down on them.
Only facts .
Not opinion.
If you like them play them.
But people from the generation that watched squier start have an opinion of them based on why they were started cause we were there when they started.

I often get a feeling the last parts (playing with others, that are really good) is the problem around here... Maybe, if people made great music with others they wouldn't spend as much time being angry and posting to forums.
