I also saw BassBrad's post on it. If my Blowtorch doesn't work out at practice today (and God do I hope it does), I''ll have to start looking out for a decent dirt pedal and I'll add the turbo on the list to check out.

A couple of changes....after two hours of A/Bing last night, the TLC knocked the MXR Bass Compressor off my board. Also added a Polytune mini...its just so cute. :)

Sweet boards! Here's my most recent arrangement. Been playing with a lot of soloed octave and deep low-passed tones.

Also, the Phat Phuk into the CS2 coaxes some great driven tones from the CS2, with the PP's boost knob acting as a gain control, without increasing volume due to the CS2's extreme compression. The octave into this combo gets nice and gritty.

The momentary switch is plugged into the M9, for quick trem or tweaked delay effects.

Not shown is the Behringer FCB1010 midi controller, programmed to control the M9 looper and to switch scenes.

My latest rig with new downsized pedalboard:

Original SansAmp -> Bass Big Muff -> Boss BF-2 -> DigiTech Bass Synth Wah -> Boss DD-7 -> Boss TU-2

(other shown pedals are my GK MB Fusion's channel select footswitch, and a keyboard sustain pedal I've re-purposed to be the tap-tempo for my DD-7)

Used to have a Dunlop 105q wah-wah instead of the BSW, but my latest 105q died on me just recently... I love the sound of the 105q, but they all seem to go bad after a couple years, that wasn't my first 105q. Dunlop tech support said it'd cost nearly the price of a new one to repair. Not sure if I really want to buy yet another 105q at this point, or try and find a new brand of wah-wah :/

It's a Pedaltrain Pro. My friend was going off to the Navy and gave it to me for next to nothing. But yes, I plan to fill it up with a little help from my friends here at TB :)

Gotta pick up some longer cables to get the wah off the board and build a different overdrive. Also, probly try to figure out what else'd be more usefull instead of OC-2 (compressor, ring-mod, second fuzz...)

a fellow RB user! those are some interesting settings, may I inquire on how you use it? it seems you like the mids scooped and a low gain setting. Do you leave it always on?

I have my mids past 12:00 usually, I like the open "nasal" mids and the gain set around 11:00 to give it a brash tone when digging into the strings. I leave mine always on, as my preamp.

I built up the PT-Jr with the extra pedals I am not using for live work.

It does sound interesting through my GK. The de Lisle Fuzz and Muff are in the LS2. Blended in, especially together, results in some interesting dirt.

Yes in deed ! I swap them in and out for flavor. Actually ... that board is not my gig board ... it is a "unused" exercise step I put velcro on so I can spread out and experiment with my pedal order ... just more room this way to move things around. There's a few Joyo pedals under there out of view as well, ultimate drive, ultimate octive, tremolo ... I've become an addict and hoarder since I discoverd Talkbass and got gassed :D

I love the RB and I use it in conjunction with my Tone Hammer several different ways. I mostly use both as always on, as my preamp for my main project which is a fairly hard rock project where I'm using a Fender P American Standard. I scoop the mids a bit on the RB and will occasionally step on the Boost of the RB (even with the low gain setting, I get plenty of gain with the boost engaged). I find the Tone Hammer helps me tame the RB and the combination of the two creates a sweet spot that is hard to verbalize but sounds like pure awesomeness to my ears.

I also have a project where I use an Ibanez fiver with active EQ and depending on the song, I use just the RB, just the Tone Hammer or both. I love the flexibility this setup gives me.
