PYPB XL: Midlife Crisis

New setup, scored a 3BOD (that thing is awesome, my wallet hates me but my ears are lovin it)!, moved the TAFM, GR2 and Black Sheep off the board. I'm looking for a dual bypass looper with soft click switches to isolate the OC-2, Oxide and Xero Dlx in their own loop and the Pickle Pie, Frantabit and Modfactor in another one. And I'm still debating an Expressionator.

Other than that, the effects quest is just about complete for me, maybe 2 or 3 pedals to buy to make a mini board and then the Wal funding begins. :bassist:

The chain goes: Diamond-->Sub-->OC-2-->Elements-->3BOD-->B3K-->Oxide-->Frantabit-->Pickle Pie-->Xero-->Modfactor-->El Capistan-->Nimbus

What Sub pedal are you using?

This is a really killer setup, but the routing is SO crazy I can't really begin to understand it. I definitely get the concept looking at it written out, but is there a particular reason the layout doesn't follow the signal chain? Seems like a lot of long cable runs.

The layout isn't final as I'm looking to get an Expressionator and the Pickle Pie might be on the chopping block.. Probably gonna swing the El Cap where the Pickle and Xero are in the meantime.

I've lined it up like that mostly for ease of use, hitting either the Xero, Franta or Modfactor with the left foot and using the exp pedal with the right foot.

Up until the Oxide, every cable is pretty short but then it does get kinda crazy...

My first submission in quite awhile:

Bass > Micro POG > MadBean Faultline (SFT Clone) > MadBean Slow Loris (RAT Clone) > GGG Tuned Big Muff > EB VP Jr. > TC Flashback

-TC Polytune Mini (off VP Jr tuner-out)

I have seen the light....

I got a problem with the XLR out of my preamp (that is a BDDI copy)
it always hissing when I plug it direct to mixer

I believe it's not grounding issue
I've tried to change the adaptor, even I've already tried just power it with battery, tried it with another bass, but the issue still, when the 1/4" is so quiet, in many gigs I had

anyone know why?
(and sorry for my bad English)

Figured I'd post one as I haven't for well over a year! I doubt anyone remember, but my pedal board has shrunk significantly since my last post. Got rid of all the 'effect' type pedals and now only use a compressor and one of my dirt pedals at a time. May replace the compressor at some point (thinking a TLC) but very content with how this is right now..

Sweet mini! Definitely check out the MXR Bass comp on your search as well! It rips!

That was the other compressor I was considering, though I must admit my old Bass Octave Deluxe turned me off MXR a little bit (really bad pots, one of which eventually stopped working). Probably something I need to get over anyway as one day I would like a Phase 90..

Here's my latest incarnation. New additions are the TAFM and the Nimbus. Loving both so far, although I've been working a lot and have only had an hour or so to play with them. I plan to swap the SA programmable EQ for a smaller graphic EQ (Mooer), add a delay (Way Huge Supa-Puss?) and a TC Ditto when those are out. Maybe one more pedal if I can swing it.
