Just snapped these of my Roscoe, Bolin and Valenti. Just put on some knobs made by Roger at THG from left over wood from the Roscoe top. Thanks Gard for saving that wood for me!
I put the extra knobs on the Bolin, they look a little odd in the pics but in person I think they work really well. I'll get closer pics of the knobs later so you can see the inlay Roger did on the volume knobs in more detail. The ebony with sapwood knob caps match the line on the top perfectly.

Ah guess those pics are pretty friggin large already! Yes that's a stacked knob on the Roscoe. Roger does great work and is a good guy to deal with. Any marks in the pics are dust. These basses are about to get a workout at a blues festival in Northeast Washington tonight!

Well there was that one time at summer camp... eh nevermind.
Played a good gig this evening for an appreciative crowd. It was a blues festival set in a camping grounds type area, so there were a lot of big campers and RVs and lots of people staying all weekend.
I was setting up and I heard some conversation going on from the edge of the stage about basses. I glanced up and there was a big crowd of people gawking at my bass collection! That was pretty funny, I am usually the guy trying to get a look at the bassist's amp and bass. On our last song the sax player and I, both wireless, decided to go out and groove with the crowd. It was a pretty successful gig, and I think this band will probably get more bookings as a result.
Anyway, I don't think I have ever gotten more compliments about an instrument than I did tonight about the Roscoe.
Keith Roscoe is definitely doing something right.
