It was a Fender, so it’s all good! You can just put the shipping label on the back of the neck and ship it. It will survive.

My Gawd!UPS showed up today….this one wasn’t repacked, it was shipped this way! Speechless.
Thank the lord for the Mono M80 gig bag (which wasn’t in the listing, and a nice surprise), this is one lucky bass to have survived the cross country trek with nothing more than a gig bag between it and sheer destruction!

Very festive and in the spirit too!....

geez louise
I literally laughed out loud when I looked at the first pic! Glad it somehow arrived safely. Zero F’s given by whoever shipped that to you, lol. Congrats on the new instrument. I saw on Reverb that you can buy 3 guitar shipping boxes for $19, not that I would ever need three. I wonder what they would charge to ship those 3 boxes.
Years ago, my Fender 55 P ri arrived in a tall box, naked surrounded by thousands of packing peanuts.
They ship the boxes folded in a bag. You then bend the box back into shape from the center and tape the ends. Whenever I've purchased a Reverb box, shipping was free.
That's how my schecter came. And every single schecter and gibson I saw come thru amazon when I worked thereEver watch an ‘unboxing’ video for a Grote guitar? Instrument, in a foam sleeve, with a couple of foam blocks in the box. I think they come from China that way.
