R.I.P. Amy Winehouse

Sad....... both her death and the general jackassery that this thread has sprouted. I hate it when our internet acts exactly like everybody else's internet.

Here's one truth: People will be spinning "Back to Black" a hundred years from now.

That record is easily in my Top 5 all-time.

RIP

I think she was an incredible talent. I have nothing to say in regards to her lifestyle, except that the word 'choices' is disputable at best.

A true loss of an undeniable talent. Some people just need to listen with their ears, not their eyes.

R.I.P

I just found out, as if my day wasn't crappy enough, almost takes me back to Cobain even though I was just under hip high at the time...

I was a fan of her's years back and her music still brings back good memories. She wasn't a voice of a generation and she didn't change music, but IMO she mattered a hell of alot more than the supposed "talent" these days. Damn this put me in a sh!tty mood....:scowl:

See that line?

The next post below that line that's inflammatory or disrespectful will be earning infraction points. This thread is, as someone just posted, a Rest In Peace thread - not an opportunity for you to disparage the memory of someone. You don't like Winehouse's music? Don't post here.

I seriously am not aware of her music. My wife says that I would recognize a few of her songs, but i'm not aware of her. I've seen her picture on the gossip/celebrity channels, and I like her appearance/style. When a young, I assume talented, personality dies... it's always tragic... and a shame. RIP, Ms. Winehouse!
