Maybe if they had a presence on the highway, it would discourage the kind of behavior that causes major crashes

Of course not, the bikers would have never messed with him in the first place. I don't see what point you're trying to make.

"you've" made my point...![]()
Sorry to disappoint ya paste, but its nothing that dramatic. Just wanted something more music oriented.
Just messin with ya. Whos the new guy in your avatar. I seen his face before but I forget where.
I hope the girl and every girl he ever meets turns him down. People that stupid shouldn't replicate. :scowl:

That's the late great Miles Davis. You do know Miles Davis, don't you? If not here you go;
Yeah, like she turns him down and in his grief he gets run over trying to exit the freeway in the wrong direction. Ok, that was evil. I'm better than that......no, I'm not.Darwinian Principle applies here, I think.

It's interesting that todays "Outlaw Biker" rides a Ninja, and todays Harley riders are mostly riding for nostalgia or a pseudo-rebel look, feel, experience.
For sure the Asian superbikes absolutely blow the Harleys away on performance. And the stunts that these guys can do are, well, "Stunning"
Take a well coordinated young man; give him a bit of grief, heartache, anger, and marginalization. Simmer for 2 to 3 years. Add some recreational drugs, petty crime, and a feeling of despair.
Throw in a superbike and a new group of friends that are also followers. Watch some of the followers turn into leaders...
of a lost pack.
I just love these freaking broad social generalizations and we complain about being "pigeon-holed" as bass players?
Thugs are thugs; riders are riders. Nostalgia? Pseudo-rebel? BS! I worked as a dealership Harley mechanic while getting my mechanical engineering degree from 1979 to 1986. Was riding before and since. If you have not lived it you do not have to right to stand outside and dump Harley riders in a basket that makes you feel better about yourself.
