Verbatim from the owners manual:
'Should any warranty repairs be necessary, we must have your warranty card on file or you must supply the original sales slip showing the date of purchase, model and serial number.'
I hope they're not saying a photocopy will not suffice and that you have to send in the actual receipt. I'd be really leery of letting that go.
SORRY, *DISLAIMER* IMHO, ymmv, what works for you works.... can we still be friendsSo I clicked on it. Started surfing around, and then.....
Realized I have the platypus bass cab.

And that, is the the essence.Haha, of course! I don't care if it's the platypus cab or not, I love the way my rig sounds. I'm more than happy with it.![]()
To keep things interesting, here's a sound clip of the beast in action! This is just a live recording of practice. Mistakes galore but you can hear the goods. Fingerstyle on Rickenbacker 4003, Hartke LH500 head with a Mesa 4x10 1x15 Cab.
Sounds great man, punches right through the mix!

Glad to hear it's working out! 9 times out of 10 companies will stand by their products and warranties, at least that's what I've found. Sometimes the waiting game to have the warranty issue resolved can be a headache. If you start jonesing while waiting for its return feel free to stop buy and bang out a few notes on mine!
RIC just sent me instructions and an RA number for returning my bass and confirmed that the warranty work will be done.
