Rigs of Doom; Part 4

the impedance is a little diff but it could be done with one cab (the gtr cabs are 16 the bass cabs are 8). truthfully they aren't really bass speakers. they're G10L's which are the same ones that went into the 4x10 "1965" cabs. and yes the cabs i have (though i can only use 1 b/c the gtr amps wont go under 8 ohm) sound glorious with guitar. big difference for some reason, tho that the bass cabs are the same size, but weigh like twice as much. they are also packed with insulation. sorry about the sound clip, tho all i'd b able to do is with my laptop's built in mic. yuk. if you can find an affordable "1965" i'd suggest getting it to anyone. but don't be a sucker and pay the
'vintage' surcharge there are still ones turning up at gc dot com for 199 occasionally.

I've already got a number.
This just an update.
I've replaced the 610av with an 810av.

Famous last words: "I've just finished buying my last rig."

...even so, having second thoughts about selling the 610av.

After another practice with the 810, the 610av is def. for sale.
A great cab, I just can't keep both. If you're interested:

Hey guys here's a fun little game... what does your cab area add up to if - 10"=310sqin, 12"=450sqin, 15=706 sqin and 18" = 1000sqin? These are based off surface are of a circle, and are not very accurate, I just thought it would be fun comparing. Mine adds up to almost 5000sqin. :bassist: :bassist: :bassist: Got any challengers? ;)

You know that SC120 I got off of you? That thing is a bit of a monster into a vintage Ampeg 810. It didn't even distort the amp by the time the CTS drivers were at their limits. Yowch!

That said, damn man! You looking to shake down buildings?
