What's a "crazy pike"?
What about the Arcadiator. @nshuman, would it be a bleep bloop fut.t.t.t kinda pedal?
Pikes are what he calls his current series of albums. He started them a few years back and is now on pike #264 or so. They cover a wide range of music, from mellow and relaxing to over the top shredding and crazy sounds.
So a crazy pike is just one of his more abstract/ intense albums. Some of them get incredibly strange, lots of crazy robot farts and other messed up sounds. Some of them are literally 20-30 minutes of weird sounds and crazy shredding

and thank you for clearing up the "crazy pike" thing. I was confused...I was up in northern Wisconsin once and there was this large fish running around town yelling at the cheese heads, talking to himself peeing in public and drinking MadDog.

You forgot one type, and it is this particular type of Robot Fart that I am aiming for... the "SBD".
Unfortunately, most of today's bass equipment doesn't go that low, sub-sonic down to the "brown note" where everyone in the audience poops their pants.
I figure playing a 40"-scale Quake bass (G#00 C#0 F#0 B0) feeding a Meatbox that goes into a Density Hulk is going to get me close, if I can only find an amp and speaker system that can handle it. If I get the amp/speaker sorted, nobody'll hear me coming...

Robot Farts smell like atmospheric ionisation, but like an air ionizer on 'roids amped up to the max — if you'd been in the great Humanoids Vs Robot wars of 13,086DBC in the Gandolutian System on the far side of the Milky Way... well, then you too would know what a robot fart smells like.
Crappy robot music, of course. You've never been to the Gandolutian System, have you.
PS:
So, the modulated space tuba of doom that the Dirty Robot can do is amazing, and it has plenty of high quality robot farts on tap.
Things have changed in two years!
There are a few new robot fart pedals out there too:
The new Keeley, the SolidGoldFx, Source Audios soon to be released and the Meris Enzo.
Don't know if the SGFX Lysis counts for robofarts but I think the CTC Deranged does!
The closest I got is a Zoom G1Xon that should be able to get into robot fart territory combining some of the Envelope Filters, Pitch Shifters, Synths and Dirt effects build into it, as well as the Ring Modulator and Bit crusher could come of use for this purpose, perhaps also the expression pedal controlled time parameter on the Tape Delay emulation, the expression pedal controlled self oscillating Delay, and the Reverse Delay could come in handy.
And actually I have programmed a patch that goes Bit Crusher> Plate Reverb> Ring Modulator that I guess could qualify as a robot-fart-esque effect, even if I haven't found any practical use for that sound and only have played with it noodling on my guitar for fun so far.
Oh, and almost forgot, I also make electronic music in the more experimental end of the spectrum, and although I only occasionally use real recorded instruments as part of the tracks, where I then sometimes will use some of my effect pedals as well, I mostly use various VST effects and VST instruments, as well as Reason 5 to create the music, but it happens every now and then that some of the sounds used on a track, passages of them, or on rare occasions even whole tracks, could be categorized as some sort of robot fart variant.
