Roscoe Club

Thanks for the response!
Since there's no room for lateral movement in my bridge, I suppose that's just a vestigial part of the standard saddle part for bridges that actually -do- have room for adjustment. Makes sense to have a standard saddle carrier...

[Edit...] After having had another look - I think maybe you were telling me that's the lock for the actual 'V' of the saddle fulcrum pin, which could conceivably be moved side-to-side in the support block. All mine seem pretty happily in the middle so I'm leaving them alone - either way! Thanks again...
Yep!

Here is my new edition..... sounds and plays as good as it looks. Ash body, Pommele Sapele top, maple board Bart JJ, Bart preamp..... exquisite craftsmanship and unrivaled playability! I think that should be the new Roscoe tagline.

Uhhhh no. That's a big negative. I'm making a push to change the Roscoe tagline to....
"Roscoe. Even mmbongo can play one!"

Got to play my Roscoe SBK5 in church for the first time, along with my MarkBass F1 and Eden 4/10 cab I enjoyed playing today. The fact that the neck was very comfortable to play on, the tone was right on that I didn't need a monitor. Weight really help me too. Tighter strings spacing was a plus. Well it look like I found a keeper those this is my second Roscoe.

I've always thought this was cool and maybe a little special. The (I think) maple veneer between the BEM board and neck on my Koa CS+5. Do they do this to every neck? I hope not. :)

I've always kind of hoped it was a special touch on my bass.
