Since there's no room for lateral movement in my bridge, I suppose that's just a vestigial part of the standard saddle part for bridges that actually -do- have room for adjustment. Makes sense to have a standard saddle carrier...

[Edit...] After having had another look - I think maybe you were telling me that's the lock for the actual 'V' of the saddle fulcrum pin, which could conceivably be moved side-to-side in the support block. All mine seem pretty happily in the middle so I'm leaving them alone - either way! Thanks again...

Got to play my Roscoe SBK5 in church for the first time, along with my MarkBass F1 and Eden 4/10 cab I enjoyed playing today. The fact that the neck was very comfortable to play on, the tone was right on that I didn't need a monitor. Weight really help me too. Tighter strings spacing was a plus. Well it look like I found a keeper those this is my second Roscoe.

I've always thought this was cool and maybe a little special. The (I think) maple veneer between the BEM board and neck on my Koa CS+5. Do they do this to every neck? I hope not.



I've always kind of hoped it was a special touch on my bass.

You could be right. Can't remember if they do maple or cherry. I was hoping Gard could shed some light.
