Roscoe Club

No "shim", just a pinstripe - they stain the body yellow (the beginning of a Tobacco Sunburst). Keith uses a thin auto pinstripe tape to create a line by putting it around the body where the stripe should be, then he does the "burst" (in this case a red followed by a slightly smaller black area), then pulls the tape back off, revealing the yellow pinstripe around the body.

And Joe, yes, this particular bass SCREAMED for the chrome hardware.

Guys, I am joining the ranks of Roscoe owners. Will get shipped today from Danny in Reno. Was one of his personal basses. Traded him my Ken Smith which was my backup bass since 1999. Can't wait.

Smith makes some nice basses but after playing and hearing the Roscoe I don't think that you'll miss the Smith! ;)
