Roscoe Club

+1

A NC Roscoe GTG would be great. Speaking only for myself I'd just enjoy seeing the shop, and meeting everyone face to face. No big productions.

Several issues are stumping my planning ability right now - not going to toss a "half@$$ed" version after how great the last one was, and until we can make that happen, there won't be one....keep your fingers and toes crossed though!

Interestingly, one of the planning issues kind of resolved itself just a moment ago: Jimmy Haslip doesn't have any time free until November, which is a pretty "iffy" period here in NC - it can be beautiful, or it can be NAAAAAAAASTY here then. We're going to consider it a bit, but we both agreed that it may be best to slide any plans for a hang here in NC until the spring, when he will have more time to plan in advance, and the weather will have a tendency to be more amenable to a big group of bassists hanging outside my house grilling burgers, drinking beer, and talking about basses.

As much as I was looking forward to this happening this year, the reality is that Spring would probably work better for me anyway. Somehow, travel is much more enjoyable in the 'right after tax refund' days than the 'right before property tax' times...

Just be aware the mid-March weekend is the Veasley Bass Boot Camp weekend and I am already committed (as in 'paid') for that.

Mid-March ain't "spring", even this far south. It's still NASTY here (40's, raining) then....think late April/early May. Perfect time to be in NC.

Cool, I might just have to take a non-Delta sponsored trip up GSO. Man, coming up there on my own dime. How crazy is that???

Bummer. I have tickets to UF vs LSU. I won't be able to make it.

LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU!

GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Just hide in the wheel well, you will be fine for an hour flight.

It appears I will be in Miami on business during this time but hopefully some pleasure as well. Looking forward to some most excellent Cuban food.
