Yeah, the body being rough cut so quickly is a blessing and a curse. One of the things one must deal with when buying custom built basses. Here's a pic of the rough cut body. As Gard said in our conversation, wait for it to be sanded and finished....in about 3-4 months! I think this will be another amazing bass.

Has there ever been a how many Rocoes have you owned thread? If so, I missed it. For the record, 2 LG3005s, 2 SKB3005s and 1 SKB3006, 5 total. Down to a Signature SKB 3005, but it's a bass I'll never sell.
I think I've had 7, so 6 besides my current. I also have one being built so 8 total after that one arrives. My current and my future will be my basses for a while. I'm getting off the merry go round and "settling" for a pair of Roscoe Century Standard Plus 5's - fretted and fretless. If I can't be happy with that, I'll never be happy.
True, if I had any need for another fretless..... used to play fretless only in a Hard Rock band, but it was too hard to keep the intonation good with a new band, new songs and some added vocal requirements. Plus, not much need for fretless in the Country band
