Roscoe Club

Had an odd string experience. I put new daddario exl220-5 xl strings when I got the roscoe. All systems go. Played a month. Then I put on a set of exl170-5 xl that I pulled of an ibanez btb, 35 inch scale, before I sold it. The B string was rattling like crazy. It worked fine on the ibby but was too short for the roscoe. Then I tried a b string from a new set of 170's. Same problem. I put the old 220 b back on. The other 170 strings were fine.

Seems strange. Both 35 inch scale basses. Both long scale strings from same maker.
Mystery solved in another thread. Jason with basstringsonline says diaddario changed the winding length a while back. The 170's were older sets. New ones are longer now.

Proudly rockin' with my absolutely SLAMMIN' SKB!

speaking of Roscoe GTG's - why aren't we ?

C'mon Gard - throw us a bone here...
I'm getting heat from the corporate bean-counter types 'cause I don't have all my PTO booked.
I'm trying to keep a couple of days clear for a road trip to a certain bass shop in NC but I'm not getting much to go on...

Hey all Georgia Roscoeheads, I'm going to be playing at the Chattahoochee River Country Music Festival at the Carrolton Fairgrounds next Saturday, July 25th. I'm playing with a local up and coming artist by the name of Stephen Dennis. We are opening the show at 12:00 noon. There will be lots of bands, a carnival and BBQ competition. Best of all it's free and you get to hear this bad boy:
