(Coming in a bit late). Alder is my new favorite body wood. In my limited experience, Alder has almost the punch that Swamp Ash provides but with a thicker, deeper sound.

I'm in. Beautiful instrument. Perfect fit and finish, great playability, and a good dose of that '80's Bartolini tone' that I didn't have in my stable. This thing just punches and burbs and pings!

Lines, specifically aluminum lines, very "sneaky" looking against the bird's eye maple diamondwood.
