Yeah, I think it's just gonna sound massive, and different from my other two.. mahogany/JBs and ash/MM.You can't go wrong with Alder.
Put a deposit down to get my headless Century Standard Plus 5 going! Stoked. I had permission from the boss to blow it out on a Custom or Signature, but the Standard really gives me everything I need.
Gonna head to Greensboro next month to pick out a top and get my fretted Century 5 Plek'd. When the headless is done, I'll go pick it up and get my fretless Century Plek'd. Exciting stuff!
Yep, straight up 85!You going up 85? Stop by and pick up my Century 4 string and have it Plek'd as well!!
That headless Century is going to be killer! You going to slant the pickups?

The spalted maple topped Roscoe 3006 that they have in is a really nice playing, sounding and looking Roscoe!
If that's the same as the spalted maple SKB Custom 6 they have, good to hear, because I just ordered it!![]()
CheeseI dropped mine off at the Roscoe shop last weekend for some work, and it was in pieces earlier this week. This photo was just posted on Roscoe's facebook page. Yeah!! Looks ready to go to me!

Just received my LG back from Roscoe. Got it Plek'ed, nut replaced and the neck pocket was redone as a previous owner put a shim in there.
I am asking myself, WHY DIDNT I DO THIS A LONG TIME AGO!!!
This is my favorite bass of all time. Especially after adding the Aguilars and the Mike Pope. Very versatile and amazing tone. Stopped bass guitar G.A.S. dead in its tracks since I bought it. However, the nut was cut a tad too deep and the setup was getting whack. Figured I would see what this Plek thing was all about.
Seriously... This is now the easiest playing bass I have ever laid my hands on. I thought it would be good but never expected this. If anyone is considering sending your guitar for a Plek job from Roscoe, don't hesitate.

I did some work on my CS+5 last night after letting the new strings sit for a few days. It's a lot better. Probably not "Plek" better but better. Could use the fret ends filed a bit.
Send it in for a trip through the Plek, and we'll take care of those fret ends at the same time.![]()
...the check is in the mail, made out to "Cash", right?![]()
