Oh I like that one. I remember lusting over it when it was for sale but.......it had no fretless lines!:help:
I can't drive on a road without side and center lines either!:D

I used to play the cello and the pneumatically-driven pitch approximator and that helped. I am not yet good to go all over the neck but that is not strictly necessary in the setting in which I play. The side dots do help, though.

So after a little experimentation with some pickup swapping I've determined that the Aguilar pre is voiced different that I'm used to so I have a Nordstrand pre on the way. I prefer a boost/cut personally.

I did finally get to play it on a gig and it was nice. Plays great and I got the action nice and low. It wasn't that that bad though and it's gonna share duties with my Sterling 5

Just received the notice from UPS that my fretless Roscoe will be delivered tomorrow! :hyper:

Looking forward to that one coming home. I'll post some pics of the new white epoxy fret lines.
