Roscoe Club

I can’t help but notice that all the posts about the Classic series have dried up, and everything is back to Century and LG posts. I have heard that there were some issues with the one-piece maple necks on the classics. Anyone else have input?

The only complaints that I’ve heard (concerning the one piece Roscoe Classic neck) is that some would prefer the 3 piece STD neck. I think a lot of Roscoeheads expect that on a Roscoe.

Hey Roscoeheads!! I'm considering letting a few of my basses go to good homes, so I'm giving this thread the notice first. My issue is I haven't decided on which Roscoe(s) to sell nor at what price, but below are what I have and if you are interested then PM me. I'll be posting them soon on some classifieds site(s).

Peace!

P.S. I also have a Wyn, Ken Smith (B/T) Vintage, Sadowsky MV5 and Stambaugh - all 5'ers, of course!

Mine needed a new neck built, which Keith did in what I would consider record time.

Those are some pretty Roscoe's Ray.
Every serious player needs a fretted and a fretless Roscoe. IMO that narrows it down to selling the buckeye and the maple figured topped LG's (with the maple boards). Primarily because you I know how good the Koa/mahogany fretted bass is and you only have one Roscoe fretless.

There you go, I made the tough choices for you!:D

A few days to a few weeks, depending on temperature, humidity, ventilation and your personal sensitivity.

Thanks!!! However, the LG Koa is getting all of the attention! The Koa Gloss w/Birdseye Maple neck was waiting the Demeter, which I think isn't coming now, needs the Bart preamp re-installed. I need to hurry and get my other basses posted in the classifieds and sold so that I can keep my LG Koa.

What are the specs on the buckeye-topped LG?

Well, the LG Koa is going back home!! Never thought I'd see the day, but I still have three Roscoe basses left, so I'm good!!!

Demeter Preamp Update: I just talked with James and my Roscoe Demeter preamp is being worked on. Hopefully soon I'll have another Roscoe with a Demeter preamp!
