Keith PLEK'd this one when he built it, so I just need the fret "tangs" that have sprouted knocked down. I'm going to practice on my cigar box guitar a bunch before I do it myself- it's too easy to screw up Keith's work.

I could use one of those and a file to knock down the frets on my Gibson.
It's maybe not $200 shipping, but I bet it's $75-$90 for me to ship it to him. I mean, the bass comes back like a gift from God so...
I don't know what you guys are talking about. I ship to and back from Roscoe shop Fed Ex Insured for full $3600 for roughly $25 or less. I don't see what the problem is lol.

I mainly wanted to have have a spot on the back of the bass clear coat fixed. He's doing that and going to look at how hard it would be to do series-parallel-single coil switches. If there is adequate room I'm going to do it. He's also installing the Nordstrand pickups and installing a VTC tone knob.

Having 2 Roscoes that sound totally different is really messing with my head!
I can't decide which flavor I like the most or for that matter which one to play!

How in the world do you guys with multiple X-multiple Roscoes decide which bass to play? I think my head would explode!

Good price too. And in one of the old Modern cases. I really loved those cases!
It was the first soft case that I felt my bass was safe in (and much lighter than the traditional hard cases).
