lol. apparently someone is misinformed on who the moderators work for.
it's good to have a dream guys. i want to walk on mars someday. maybe we'll all see them happen.
on a serious note, if you guys have a complaint about anyone in particular, please contact me or any of the other admins and we'll do what we can about it. privacy will be respected (guaranteed) and action will be taken, if there's a valid complaint to be had.

Or, "If you don't like a thread topic (or the person posting it) don't read it"
A rule against posting snide/rude comments in someone's thread because you don't like them or their topic. This actually happens more than it should and is already against the rules. I'ld rather not have to start flagging these but who knows?

I have to go with the harmonic series concept here, Mike.
Second, 4th, and 6th order bass harmonics sound dissonant
and crappy. Fundemental, third, fifth and 7th ... good.
By analogy:
Sarcasm = good
Sarcasm about sarcasm = Fail
Sarcasm about sarcasm about sarcasm (sarcasm3= Big win)
Sarcasm4=Fail2
It is reasonable to deduct that the harmonic series
sN+1 where N = 1,3,5..n+2 is good and
is a win. The higher n+2 goes, the more epic the win.
Where n+2 = an even number the higher the dissonance
and the more epic the fail (for only those who understand
the difference).
May I then suggest this be included in the TB unwritten
rules as the 'Mike v_s rule of Sarmonic Dissonance"? Only
odd powers work.
Need a second on that, of course.

Thor, it's s2N+1, that's the correct formula for how exponential the epic win is. You don't need mathematic row to define the value of N then.
The only thing that bothers me is the "holier than thou" elitist attitudes, but I guess you'll find that on any site.

I guess that depends on your general outlook, you can say hi to someone in your town that happens to say hi to you or you can ignore them and say nothing.
I was using the sarcasm Thor mentioned when I posted sort of a holier-than-thou attitude that you mentioned. Synergetic Sarcasm. It's coming to the thead near you.
