Rybski Basses?

I hope you don't think I am defending him...just stating the sad truth. Totally sucks that you got hosed. This guy would've been on my short list of builders should I have ever had the coin to buy custom but not now!
No, not at all! I'm starting to repeat myself. There's not an argument left to make that has not already been made. I just wish I had another trick up my sleeve. I don't like the idea of lawyers or cops getting involved.

I've already decided to just go ahead and build my own instrument. I've worked with wood all my life and have been researching guitar making. This is one of my designs. It's a small headless guitar, 20" scale.

I encourage anybody who wants to, to get ahold of this guy and ask him why he's holding my money. His number is [removed by moderator]. Or contact through Facebook or email. He knows my new number now and will not pick up the phone or answere my emails, but I'm pretty shure he will pick up for somebody else. Only if you want to.

Can anybody tell me why it's a violation to talk about Rybski on a thread that is about rybski. I kinda get the feeling that this page is getting shut down and there are a bunch of other Rybski pages out there on TB that I am not aloud to talk on. Feels suspicious. The other pages start the same as this on did. Ask a question about Rybski and then somebody else says ya! They're great. I have more than proved this guy fraudulent.

No offense, guy, sorry if / that you got screwed, but this isn't the right place for your crusade, and you're attacking innocent people with it. It was pretty obvious those posters weren't fake ids if you looked at their histories.

Your accusations against Rybski may be perfectly valid, I don't know, haven't read all of it, but your false accusation against other posters will get you banned if you don't stop.

Why is this not the place? And who am I attaking that's innocent? I'm not writing under a fake name. If somebody can spell Rybski then they can google and get to his web site and ask dude himself. The page is about Rybski so what rule am I violating by sharing my true story. The page is contrived? This is the right place to talk about an instrument maker that rips people off. The guy I replied to straight up lied to everybody and told people that Rybski paid me back and that I was a bad customer. I should have the right to call out bs.

I have proved it beyond a reasonable doubt . Read if you want or don't. I was told that if somebody talks about Rybski then I can comment as well. It's not out of line or out of reason. I did nothing wrong. Just talking about Rybski on a thread that's about Rybski.

After reading every post from the beginning (yes, very very rare here on tb - try it sometimes, it will save a lot of unnecessary misinterpretations) it appears there is an legitimate issue here. It pertains to anyone on tb because it is about someone who is experiencing major difficulties in their dealings with a luthier. As in, someone else here on tb who would be interested in having a bass made by this maker has a right to know of something that may influence their choosing them over another maker. I don't see any trolling or slandering going on until it is proven in court of law who is guilty.

In looking back at the posts, there was only one poster who stated "I heard he was refunded from Rybski himself."* It's odd because I saw this post as part of a reply only so the original post must have been deleted. "I heard" is not "I know for a fact and can prove it". Otherwise there was no other first hand statements by tb members to shed light on this specific issue. So no 'false accusations against other posters" as far as I read. (unless they've been deleted too)

I personally do not think there is a violation going on here because as far as I can tell someone (could have been anyone here on tb) is expressing a major problem in their attempts to have dealings with an instrument maker that involves a substantial amount of money. Consider it as the other side of the coin of the cheery NBD post. I'm just glad it wasn't me.

* FTR - I saw in post #41 this was addressed

You are accusing other posters of being Rybski under a fake name when they obviously are not - look at the histories of the posters you accused.

The wilder and wider your accusations are, the fewer people here are going to believe you. Or care. You have a beef with Rybski, take it to Rybski, or take it to court. This forum is not in the business of redressing other businesses' customer service issues, and neither are we - there is little to nothing anyone here can do to help you. Warning other posters that you got ripped off / are dissatisfied would be within the rules, I believe, but accusing other posters of being fake front ids for Rybski when they clearly are not is going way, waaaay too far, and that will get you banned, I'm quite certain.

Reporting isn't a violation - falsely accusing other posters of being fake Rybski fronts most definitely is. Now, if that accusation turns out to be correct, then Rybski fries in the court of public opinion, but looking at the timelines, I don't think that's possible. Granted, I didn't cross-check all of the dates of the complaints vs. when the other posters joined, but they sure seem like real people to at least several of us.

Are we reading the same thread? I don't see any post here where he is doing this.

Looks like he deleted them. He posted a pic of the warning he got from the mods, it was about his posts in the other thread.

I did see that warning earlier, and then it was gone. FTR; not "sticking up" for him (as he replied to the mod in an earlier post) but from this thread it appeared that there was and possibly is an issue pertinent to tb members. But it also appears that there is a lot of deleting going on here and as that is the case, I'm out.

I did not accuse anybody. Just asked a question.
