Hey there, I have just posted a new thread regarding which jack fits a S.U.B. bass.
My jackpot is ****ed and need to buy a new one but can't find enough documentation on the internet regarding the S.U.B. rather than the Stingray..anyone can help me?
thanks!

jackpot???

if you mean jack socket, they use the same type.
I'd get one from Switchcraft. They're sturdy, well made. Make sure you get the "stereo" (two terminals plus common) one, rather than the usual mono ones in passive basses, as the extra terminal is used to disconnect the battery when the cable is pulled.

You might find the pins need resoldered to the circuit board.
I had to do this on mine cause the lead was tight under the strap and put sideways pressure on the jack and cracked the solder joints on the board.
I resoldered them and never had a problem since.
They are incredible basses

Well, I suppose I can join this club now, thanks to BBKINGBASS.

Same pics from the thread. Maybe more will come soon.

So... does anyone know what this "Custom Music Man Textured Finish" on the SUB is, anyway? I find it beautiful and beastly, and might like to finish a guitar to match my SUB.

Anyone know what the textured paint is and/or where I can get some?

Thanks!

EDIT: Nevermind... Billy Imperial from Ernie Ball Customer Service told me it's just a standard Textured Polyester, available in automotive paint stores, etc.
