Yes, Doc. But deepestend says the status of the Satin models is TBD. The press release only says that the shop will continue to make "NYC Custom Shop" instruments.
Thanks for the clarification, Greg!

Years ago on April Fool's Day I posted a thread entitled "Roger Sadowsky Sells Company to Ed Roman". It was a joke of course but can you imagine what sort of customer service you'd get?!!Probably not enough for the TB crowd.
Let's ponder it another way - this has to do with economies of scale so a "biggish" company probably needed to be the license/distribution partner. So imagine these headlines and the TB response:
"Sadowsky signs deal with Fender"
"Sadowsky signs deal with Rickenbacker"
"Sadowsky signs deal with Gibson"
I'm sure those would have been threads with all love and positivity![]()

I just order parts from Warwick with no issues. Easy, quick, personable.I've ordered lots of spare parts from the US distributor. What is the issue?

Sounds like you seriously had a bad experience... what’s your gripe?Ugh - this is terrible. Warwick of all companies? When I bought my first Sadowsky it was partly to get away from companies like Warwick. The customer service I experienced from Warwick was the polar opposite of what I expect from a company like Sadowsky. I will never again buy anything manufactured by Warwick - Sadowskys included. I have very little respect for Warwick/Hans-Peter and my level of respect for Sadowsky just dropped a notch.
Ohhhhhhhhh..... Now I wonder if I've got the last NYC Satin that will be made with blocks:

Myself also, and wife Florence have corresponded with me about matters of minor and major on a few occasions .Experiences vary.
I have excellent opinion from Warwick service and Hans Peter himself, who never refused to deal personally with me via e-mail.
That's fine if you don't mind paying $35 for shipping one pickup, plus import fees.
That would be Cortek (Cort).Good for Roger! Time to enjoy life I guess
I hope we can get a Sadowsky build in Indonesia, Korea or any part of the world with the quality and tag price of Lakland skyline series.
