I'm thinking about different designs and colours for each. Here is a mock-up with some cut veneer shapes that I had left over from a previous build.
And here's what I have to glue up and vacuum bag for the first one. This will take 2 or three passes through the bag.

How does this vacuum bagging procedure work? With so many veneer pieces, how do you keep them aligned while vacuum bagging? Or do you tack them together first and then glue them onto the top?
I'll fit and glue a few pieces at a time. I use painters tape to hold them in place. After a few hours, I add a few adjoining pieces and then put it back under vacuum.
I had enough vehicle air-conditioning repairs last spring to warrant the purchase of a vacuum pump. Now a bag setup is on my list. 
The first panel is out of the bag and had a light sand.
I'm going to simplify the next face show panels to speed things up - less joints means less cycles through the vacuum bag. The vacuum bag set up gets in the way of all other wood work, so the quicker that is done, the quicker I can get on to other components.

TB hive mind... which of these colour schemes works best?
The blue and yellow are not negotiable because this is destined for a recent Ukranian refugee that had to abandon his recording studio and flee with his family. Help me choose between orange, clear maple, brown and black as the third colour.

I vote for black, it doesn't distract from the primary colors. The orange and maple look a bit odd to my eye, and I'm just not a fan of brown.
I like the orange in the second pic.
