I’ve got some green dice knobs I can put on it so cool. @2groggy did we talk about dice knobs? Seems like you said you had some but I’m happy to send some your way if you want them. I know I’ve got green and yellow, probably some other colors.

Testing three different edge treatments. From left to right, 1/4" roundover, single binding, three ply binding.
One of the 30" scale necks has a matching neck template, so I figured out the neck angle and routed out the neck pocket.

It's bass VI geometry mock-up day.
I bolted on the neck and fabricated a temporary (I hope) tailpiece.
Using edge trimmer cord in place of strings, I positioned the tailpiece. The actual centre line matched up perfectly with the planned CL.
I plan on a thin neck-mount jazz box pickup and am considering some form of surface mount pick-up closer to the bridge.
Next steps are:

- drill the potentiometer and switch holes
- glue on the back
- trim & maybe bind the body
- finish
- assemble
I've cut the sound holes. I may still sharpen the ends of the holes. I've also settled on Gretsch wiring (master volume, neck volume, bridge volume, master tone.
I got a little bit done this afternoon.
Tomorrow is a provincial holiday, so I want to finish the neck pocket jig and cut both pockets.
- The back is glued on the Cards body (sorry, no clamp shot)
- I have mostly completed the neck pocket template that will be used for the other two bodies
- I worked on the headstock detail for the Dice body
