I bolted on the neck and fabricated a temporary (I hope) tailpiece.

Using edge trimmer cord in place of strings, I positioned the tailpiece. The actual centre line matched up perfectly with the planned CL.

I plan on a thin neck-mount jazz box pickup and am considering some form of surface mount pick-up closer to the bridge.

Next steps are:
- cut the sound holes
- drill the potentiometer and switch holes
- glue on the back
- trim & maybe bind the body
- finish
- assemble
