Schecter Owners Club, part 3

I've yet to see a photo of Robert playing a Maple Fretboard. Not Yet anyways. ;)

Found this on Reverb. Wonder if someone was just trying to sell a Bass.
It does say they were offered in 2 Models, one being Burst w/ Maple.
Mine didn't come with active pickups. It had the Hot SD Set in it.

That's the Diamond series Yours has a Schecter custom Shop neck plate. Like I said Robert invented the Model T there is no reason to think He didn't have multiple iterations of it being a Schecter employee and popular touring musician, He was probably testing out what worked and what didn't.

That's why I'm thinking Yours May be an early custom Shop or perhaps a bass Made for Robert to tour with, why Would He put His own signature on His personal bass, He worked for Schecter so it is very possible He had many more prototypes and touring basses than other artists,

I purchased it off ebay cheap in 16 or 17. I'm going to try and find who I purchased it from but, don't think ebay keeps records for that long.
I can't believe what people are asking for these Basses now. They've doubled in value in the last 3 years.

This one definitely works for me !:bassist:

Wow, it could be the Bass.

That one photo with the Tele headstock is BadAss !

Here's another Burst (2000) that was sold here in 12. Same neck plate and Diamond series.
Something else odd about mine that is different from the others is the finish. The clear on mine is a very thin Satin finish.
SOLD - For Sale : Schecter Model T

Just got back from meeting previous owner, and got it back home now. NBD with fitted original molded case,in great shape,no dings or scratches that I can see. Will need a new set of strings, which I like the medium light Ernie Ball slinkys myself. Serial number starts out with 02,and Signature on back of head stock. Had to tighten one of the control plate screws, and found the hole for the screw needed a tooth pick,to secure it better in body. Has the EMG pickups.

Awesome, you are helping with my guilt. ;);)

The last one you had was with a transparent white and
you could actually see the wood-grain thru the paint, right ?

I found some photo's of the previous one you had. Has the same neck plate.
The previous one has a Skunk Stripe and it makes me wonder if someone added the Active EMG's to it aftermarket because it doesn't have a Battery Box. There's probably know way of knowing for certain.
You'll have to bring it over to see if we can swap necks so you can have another Burst.:bassist::thumbsup:
